Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive patient intake protocols including vital assessment, EKGs, and phlebotomy with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate seamless patient flow across 15+ specialty departments using Epic EHR system
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision with zero-error documentation
- Mentor 5+ junior medical assistants through structured training programs and competency assessments
- Implement infection control standards exceeding Joint Commission requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care pathways
- Conduct quality assurance audits for clinical equipment and supply management
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification with 3+ years acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification with current ACLS preferred
- Advanced EHR proficiency with demonstrable Epic EMR experience
- Proven leadership in clinical team coordination and training initiatives
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
- Exceptional communication skills in diverse patient populations
- Ability to maintain composure in high-acuity emergency scenarios
- Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or related field required
