Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify prescriptions with 100% accuracy using pharmacy software
- Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies
- Maintain compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Process third-party insurance claims efficiently
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 2 years hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong math and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Clean background check and drug screen
