Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify medications with precision using automated systems
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians on protocols
- Process insurance claims and manage prescription documentation
- Conduct medication reconciliation for patient safety
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
