Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately with precision verification
- Manage inventory control and ordering for specialized pharmaceutical products
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians on best practices
- Operate automated dispensing systems and maintain workflow efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists on medication therapy management

Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification preferred
- Expertise in sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation
- Strong knowledge of medication safety protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-pressure environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, Cerner)
