Responsibilities
- Lead daily pharmacy operations including prescription processing and dispensing
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceuticals
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate medication records
- Collaborate with pharmacists on patient counseling protocols
- Oversee sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation
- Implement quality control measures for dispensing accuracy
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 3 years of retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and medication safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Basic IV certification preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
