Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel architectures for AGI systems, focusing on reasoning, planning, and adaptability.
- Lead the research and development of safety and alignment protocols to ensure AI systems remain beneficial and controllable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of neuroscientists, ethicists, and software engineers to integrate multimodal understanding into core models.
- Publish high-impact research papers in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and contribute to open-source communities.
- Mentor junior researchers and establish technical standards for the AI research department.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models in simulated and real-world environments.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Cognitive Science.
- Proven track record of leading complex research projects or holding key engineering roles in AI labs.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs), transformers, and reinforcement learning.
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
