Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update medical records accurately.
- Vital Signs & Exams: Measure vital signs, record medical histories, and assist providers during physical examinations.
- Lab Work: Collect and process blood samples, urine, and other specimens for diagnostic testing.
- Admin Support: Schedule appointments, manage incoming calls, and handle medical billing and coding as needed.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and ensure exam rooms are clean and ready for patient use.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Oklahoma State Medical Assistant License.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and basic medical software.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
