Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic laboratory tests
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient exam room turnover
- Assist with patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
