Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and vital signs in EMR systems
- Administer injections and perform routine lab tests under supervision
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals with specialists
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Microsoft Office Suite
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
