Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and collect lab specimens
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and handle administrative tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Nebraska medical assistant license required
