Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and perform injections as directed by physicians
- Manage patient electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic diagnostic tests
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure smooth clinic workflow
- Assist with insurance verification and billing documentation
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and medical equipment
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
