Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per protocols
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
