Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Perform vital signs checks and patient intake documentation
- Prepare patients for treatments and administer injections as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and HIPAA compliance
- Manage exam room sterilization and inventory control
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
