Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and injections per provider protocols
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain efficient clinic flow
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Pennsylvania medical assistant license (if applicable)
