Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations following protocols
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and sterile processing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Washington state MA certification required
