Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer medications and injections as per physician orders
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification and Kansas MA license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
