Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist patients for examinations, including vital signs measurements and medical history documentation
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, appointment scheduling, and communication between providers
- Assist with sterilization of equipment and maintenance of clean clinical environments
- Support provider efficiency through room preparation and supply management
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification and Oklahoma state medical assistant credentials
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or experience with EMR software)
- Exceptional patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
