Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems and maintain confidential records
- Perform vital signs measurements, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs
