Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and perform basic laboratory tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain efficient clinic workflows
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification and California MA license
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
