Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and perform basic laboratory tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) and Arizona state registration
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS certification and phlebotomy skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Spanish bilingual proficiency highly desirable
