Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient examinations, injections, and wound care
- Perform vital signs measurements and ECG/EKG screenings
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- New York State MA license (if applicable)
