Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and accurately record patient medical history.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform basic lab tests, phlebotomy, and EKGs as directed by the provider.
- Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle front desk reception duties.
- Maintain accurate medical records and billing documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
