Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical histories.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision.
- Coordinate laboratory specimen collection and processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding test results and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, or Cerner preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License (if required for site visits).
