Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including medical history reviews and vital sign measurements.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians, following strict safety protocols.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately, ensuring data integrity and privacy compliance.
- Order and maintain laboratory specimens and medical supplies.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to promote wellness and adherence to treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
