Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Perform vital signs checks, phlebotomy, ECGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification and BLS credentials
- Ohio Medical Assistant registration (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
