Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital sign measurements and EKG procedures
- Manage electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, AMT, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to hybrid remote/on-site workflow
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
