Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs checks and basic patient assessments
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections per protocols
- Prepare and maintain sterile examination rooms
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and data entry
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in medical software (Epic, NextGen, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
