Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, intake, and medical history collection.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests (phlebotomy).
- Provide patient education and answer inquiries regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard medical software (Epic, Athenahealth, etc.) is a plus.
