We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional to join our growing clinic.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight monitoring.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting.
- Prepare and administer injections/medications as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain strict HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate patient appointments, handle incoming calls, and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Ensure a clean, sterile, and safe environment for all patients and staff.
- Assist with basic laboratory testing and specimen collection.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification required (or willing to obtain).
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50lbs).
- Valid Texas Driver's License (optional for office role).
