Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic measurements
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Tennessee state license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for mobile assignments
