Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals, and medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Process lab specimens and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle front desk administrative duties.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) is mandatory.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a physician's office or clinic setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- FL State License (if applicable based on role scope).
