Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient intake, including updating medical records and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License (if driving for facility duties).
