Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, patient assessments, and health history reviews.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and appointment scheduling efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office setting.
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
