Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and EKG recordings
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or pursuing certification
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (will provide training)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
