Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties: Assist providers with patient examinations, take vital signs, and prepare patients for procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage patient intake, schedule appointments, update electronic health records (EHR), and handle insurance verification.
- Procedural Support: Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist with basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain treatment plans, and ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions and medical histories in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Inventory: Monitor and restock medical supplies and medications as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CMA or CNA certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates with no prior experience.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform light physical tasks.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
