Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examination and/or treatment.
- Record patient medical history, vital signs, and information into electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood draws, and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Coordinate patient appointments, manage incoming calls, and handle patient inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Assist physicians with minor procedures and patient education.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and medical procedures.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
