Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, managing check-in processes and updating medical records accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Perform routine vital sign measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight monitoring.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies for the next patient.
- Assist with basic laboratory tasks and phlebotomy under direct supervision.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage prescription refills as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; current enrollment in a Medical Assistant program is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we value potential and willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
