Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients, verify information, and prepare them for examinations.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assistance: Assist providers with minor procedures and patient examinations.
- Admin Support: Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Lab Work: Collect and process specimens as directed by physicians.
- Environment: Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required for entry-level candidates with relevant experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal: Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliability: Punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
- License: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
