Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for treatment
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Perform basic lab tests and EKG procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure clinic sanitation and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
