Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with vitals, medical history, and symptom assessment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming calls and messages efficiently.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including wound care and basic diagnostics.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors of all ages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior medical experience necessary; we provide training for the right candidate.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR software quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
