Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by interviewing them, recording medical history, and measuring vital signs.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications, and draw blood samples as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating patient records.
- Assist physicians during examinations by positioning patients and preparing instruments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
