Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical documentation
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and basic laboratory testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain patient confidentiality
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and virtual patient support services
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Support administrative functions including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA/RMA certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and remote hours
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
