Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EMR systems with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and provide patient education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (early/late/evening/weekend)
- Illinois medical assistant license required
