Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and prepare exam rooms efficiently
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
