Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow between exam rooms and ancillary services
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
