Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, accurately record vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections/immunizations following strict safety protocols.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Ensure the clinical environment is clean, sterile, and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide post-care instructions.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage incoming communications.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting with a strong focus on patient care.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems and medical software.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with varying shift requirements.
- Compliance with all HIPAA regulations and company policies.
