Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and prepare examination rooms for provider visits.
- Measure vital signs, record medical history, and assist providers during examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians or nurse practitioners.
- Manage patient records electronically using EMR systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or MA certification preferred).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients of all backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting while maintaining attention to detail.
