Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify demographic information accurately.
- Record vital signs and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations.
- Manage patient flow, including scheduling appointments and refills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by providers.
- Assist with insurance verifications and billing processes.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
