Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments via telehealth platforms
- Assist physicians with electronic medical record documentation
- Administer remote patient education and medication reminders
- Coordinate referrals and lab results follow-ups
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant data security protocols
- Collaborate with care teams to develop treatment plans
- Handle billing and insurance verification tasks
Qualifications
- Current CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Strong telehealth platform knowledge
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Texas Medical Board license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification
- Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred
