Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, ECGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence professionally
- Inventory and maintain medical supplies and exam rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) from accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
